Langrenn!
At last! Second hand shoes were bought during the week, cross country skis bought midday today, straight away after reading the add on internet.
2 pm, we are ready! 10 minutes were supposed to be enough to go from home to slopes, but with the icy weather here in Trondheim, you never know. Well, actually, it was more like some 20 minutes :-) And of course, Norwegian people were still running, carrying skis on shoulder! That looked like already a good start!
Then, it is another 5 minutes to understand how those bindings works (quite different form downhill), and ... let's go! Just follow the trace:
We knew quite well the area, close from our home, and same as the one we explored last summer to pick up blueberries! But blueberries harvest was easier than cross country ... as we are not sure whether our skis are dedicated to skating, classing, or something else, we decided to try everything ... and above all to do the same as other people :-) Looks good, eh?
Fortunalety, we can always rely on sun and beautiful landscapes to have a nice break:
In a nutshell: we have to improve our downhill skills (we miss edges!), and next time, we are going further!
On our way back through beautiful wooden houses, what a great evening!
